Why not backup the whole server?
Cobalt Support has developed its 'Disaster Recovery Solution' to protect you and your server.  It has also been designed to protect you against the possibility of an attack.  If a 'hacker' were to gain access to your server [assuming you hadn't installed our antiHACK Package] he would most probably install additional software like a rootkit to make it easier to access your server next time he 'visits' it. If our backup system were to back this up too, a 'clean up' of your system would be totally useless - as the 'recovery files' would contain a backup of the rootkit as well!

Is it really FREE?
If you have csBACKUP installed on your server we will charge you absolutely nothing for storing data on one of our backup servers. Contact Us for more details.

How much will it REALLY cost me?
We do not charge for the storage of backup data on our servers - you can store as much as you like.  However, there is charge for the bandwidth you use - the size of the transfer and the frequency will incur a cost.

How does it work?
If you decide to use our Backup Service you simply 'buy' GB bandwidth units.  These 'units' will allow you to transfer data to and from our server until your bandwidth unit has been exhausted.  To help you monitor the service, each week you will receive an automatic TRAFFIC REPORT from us with details of the bandwidth used and costs incurred.  This will enable you to keep a close eye on your costs and know when the time is right to increase your bandwidth or buy additional units.  To help you calculate your costs, please use the following chart:
