Sun Java System ASP 4.0 (ChilliSoft) allows Web applications written using Active Server Pages (ASP) to be deployed on a BlueQuartz server. ASP applications currently supported by Microsoft IIS can now be powered by the Java System Web Server for increased security.

In addition to core services such as a scalable ASP engine, ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), and a full suite of ODBC database drivers, Java System ASP has been enhanced with support for XML and Java technology. These features provide a straightforward and easy mechanism for moving into the age of Web services - without having to rewrite or relearn the ASP scripting languages (e.g., VBScript).
